Skincare Haul

I feel like it’s always the same way, everything runs out at once. My toner and moisturiser had both run out, so naturally that meant a trip to my favourite place, Boots. Did I leave with just a moisturiser and toner? Nope, of course not! So, I thought I’d share with you all my little skincare (and a cheeky mascara) haul.

Neutrogena Visibly Clear Oil Free Moisturiser £4.99

This is a product I have repurchased over and over, and will continue to do for ages! It’s a fabulous moisturiser and is a great one to use in the mornings as I find it makes a perfect base for makeup. I feel that this product is one of the reasons I was able to clear up my acne and helped in reducing the little marks left behind. What I also love is that it was 2 for £5 on Neutrogena in Boots, which happens quite often, so was able to another one for only 1p. Bargain!

Boots Botanics All Bright Hydrating Night Cream £4.99

It’s probably due to the change in weather and having the heating on a bit more, but my skin has become quite dry recently, particularly around my forehead and chin. I decided that I would try a night cream in place of the moisturiser mentioned above to provide a bit more moisturisation. The Boots website says:

Formulated with hyaluronic acid, proven to immediately boost moisture levels, the nourishing formula leaves skin ready to face the day. Hibiscus is nature’s brightness booster and a wonderful hue of pink. Natural AHA’s from the flower act as mild exfoliators to help leave skin smoother and brighter.

I’ve been using this for a few nights and while I’m not a massive fan of the smell, it’s done a really good job at moistursing my skin and it looks healthier and clearer. Loving it so far!

Quick Fix Mega Moisture Gel Mask £4.99

I love the two Quick Fix masks I have already and have a blog post about them, too. As I mentioned before, my skin has been quite dry so thought I’d give this a go. I used it the night I got it and I was really impressed with how well it worked and my makeup looked really good the next day. My foundation didn’t cling to any dry patches like it normally does, so it was a good little purchase!

Boots Botanics All Bright Cleansing Toner £3.99

This is another repurchase for me, and I couldn’t tell you how many of these I’ve had. It’s one of the other reasons I think my skin has become so much clearer in the last few years and anything else I have tried just never seems to match up!

Maybelline The Falsies Volum’ Express Flared Mascara £7.99

So, not skincare, but a recent purchase, so thought I’d add it here. I’m going to justify this the same way I need to my family when they caught me try to sneak this upstairs, which is that my mascara was running out (sort of) so therefore needed a new one! I used to love the Falsies mascara ages ago so thought I’d give it another try. I used it the other day and I was really impressed with it. It also lasted really well and didn’t shed under my eyes, which is a massive plus!

That’s it for my little haul. I hope you enjoyed!

What are your favourite skincare products that you repurchase again and again?

Thanks for reading!

I love the falsies mascara until I accidentally bought the waterproof version, what a nightmare!! I’m interested to see how you get on with the mask as moisture obviously becomes a priority for many of us at this time of year.
